Wishing you a very Happy New Year. We at Suicide Bereavement UK have hit the ground running this year. We will be making several announcements in the next few weeks. Here are some of our recent developments.

International engagement
  • Our work (i.e. research, training and key resources) is currently generating interest in several countries (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, Ghana and Gibraltar)

  • I have just returned from Australia and New Zealand after attending several meetings to discuss our work. Examples include presenting to the Veteran Department at the Australian Government, which was especially interested in the ‘At Your Side’ guides for the Armed Forces community bereaved by suicide. Delivery of CPD-accredited suicide bereavement training
  • We are delivering PABBS evidence-based, CPD-accredited suicide bereavement training in Gibraltar in a few weeks. CLICK HERE

  • We have just been commissioned to deliver PABBS and Select4 training to primary care in the UK CLICK HERE

Suicide Bereavement UK’s conference
  • We have now announced the issues that we will be discussing at Suicide Bereavement UK’s 14th international hybrid conference, which is the largest suicide bereavement conference internationally. The conference is in Manchester on the 25th of Sept 2025. It is worth taking a look. CLICK HERE

  • We launched the ‘At Your Side’ guide for serving personnel bereaved by suicide at Suicide Bereavement UK’s conference last September. The following link will take you to the filmed recording: CLICK HERE.

I would appreciate it if you would forward the above information to interested parties. Thank you for your unfailing support. It is appreciated.
