Time to Talk Day at Channel Islands Co-operative

Hello there, friends! We wanted to take a moment to reflect on our recent adventures during Time to Talk Day at the Channel Islands Co-operative located in St. Sampsons and St. Martins in association with Guernsey Mind. Sarah Bamford from Guernsey Suicide Awareness Group joined Guernsey Mind for conversations that made the day special.

February 6th - Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day represents a prominent mental health dialogue in the UK. This day encourages friends, families, communities, and workplaces to unite in discussing, listening, and transforming lives.

Get Guernsey Talking

Guernsey Mind partnered with Channel Islands Coop and will be in the foyer areas at the Grandes Marchés in St Sampsons and St Martins, giving out free teabags and information to encourage people to have a brew and talk it through.

We discussed various topics, including personal experiences related to mental well-being and the importance of reaching out. It’s clear that Time to Talk Day is not just about raising awareness; it’s about fostering honest dialogue. These interactions can lead to meaningful change in our schools, workplaces, and homes.

Continuing the Conversation
